As a Singapore-based company, we celebrate two new years holidays, one on January 1st and the second based on the lunar calendar, and both have now passed, so this is our last chance to wish you all a happy new year.

Let's jump straight into the updates.

Email Address for Processing

Each outlet now has it's own email address for forwarding invoices for processing! If you've got your suppliers sending you invoices by email you can either share this email with them or you can forward invoices to Foodrazor and we'll extract the PDF or JPG attachments and start processing immediately.

Simple Orders vs. Purchase Orders

Accessible from the Group Settings-> Outlet -> Settings -> Order Settings this allows you to choose to send detailed Purchase Orders that includes product name, quantity, price and supplier SKU or Simple Orders which only sends the product name and quantity.

Draft Orders

Have you ever started an order at the end of your shift but you knew the morning crew would have items to add to the order before you sent it on to your supplier? Well, now you can save your orders as a draft, and the rest of the team can pick them up and add to them before sending them along to your supplier. Available on desktop only now, but coming soon to iOS and Android.

We'll also be developing a new permission that restricts users to only creating Draft Orders which will enable two levels of approval on ordering. Be on the look out for that later this quarter.

Received Status

At the end of last year we made some changes to the ordering lifecycle with the changes to status titles and in addition to Draft Orders we're also introducing Received Status.

Received Orders do not require you to upload invoices or identify the deliveries as matching the orders or not. It comes before "Complete" so you can now separate the receipt of goods and finalization with the uploading of the invoice.

Filter Accessibility

In an effort to make it faster and easier to perform key actions around sorting and filtering products, invoices, etc. we've pulled out the two most critical filters in each section into their own dropdowns. All the same filters are still available via the Filters button but hopefully this saves you a bit of time.

Features Available by Platform

As we roll out new features monthly we wanted to share an easy place to see what features are available on what platform: desktop, iOS, Android, and mobile browser. We've made the decision to roll out features as they're ready rather than waiting for them to be available across all platforms and this is where you can find our chart of features.

Editing Invoice Number and Invoice Date

We've made these entirely editable so that you can jump in and make any changes you may need to make.

New Permissions around Invoice Management

Not everyone on the team is involved in the management of invoices and there's no reason for them to be distracted by that information. The new permissions allow you to hide that section entirely, enable or disable the ability to send invoices to your accounting integrations, or even see the accounting integration details.

We're excited to share our newest release and have a full slate of updates already planned for 2025. Keep your eyes out for new items on a regular basis!
